Holunjeng Records is proud to present the "different" EP featuring Hong Kong based Kazakh artist Fedor Yury; a mysterious producer known only as "Overachiever"; and Timothy Fairless, music-maker and video artist from Brisbane, Australia. Aside from the ebullient original "different" from Fedor Yury, we are especially excited to have a remix from Timothy Fairless, who produces atmospheric ambient and experimental sounds using processed field recordings with acoustic instruments and synthesizers. His adventurous sounds come to the fore on this Ep, with a soundscape kaleidoscope of atmospheric brilliance that takes the original and reimagines it as slow burning composition recalling the likes of Jean-Michel Jarre, Giorgio Moroder, Hans Zimmer, diving into the likes of drone, film score, and spiritual music. Rounding off the EP is a remix by "Overachiever", a mysterious producer who remains in the shadows but comes bounding in with a melodic dark techno take on Fedor's original.
